It is with broken hearts we write this - and ask this of our loving friends and relatives.

As many of you know...Charles’ Dad, Irv, passed in 1995, and shortly afterwards, a memorial bench was dedicated to him in Edmonds, and it's been there ever since with a plaque reading "In memory of Irving Steinberg".  

What you may not know is...Charles passed this year, on September 21st (the same day as Irv's birthday!).

Mom Audrey has requested we add Charles' name to Dads memorial bench. 

 

The Edmonds Parks and Recreation are encouraging us to purchase a metal bench (currently wood), with a 20-year maintenance contract (that comes to approximately $120/year).

The new metal bench would be made with both Charles Raymond and Irving Steinberg names on the new plaque.

The cost for a new bench, with a 20-year contract is $3,300.

We are asking for any amount, and we understand it's a financially difficult time for many, but truly, a bunch of small donations can add up fast!

We have high hopes to continue to honor the memory of them both.

 

Hearts are still broken over here, and it was difficult to write this ---still so hard to believe Charles is gone.
