Help Chané fight Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma

On July 15, 2019, my sister, Chané O’Bannon, was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NSHL) following a chest biopsy where a mass was removed from behind her lungs. Chané has spent most of her life committed to helping those around her and encouraging people to live to their full potential. After having received her MS in Anatomy and BSN from Loma Linda last year, she has continued to help those in need by working as an ICU nurse at Loma Linda.
To those who know Chané , or have even met her, she’s nothing short of amazing and inspiring. Her smile and her laugh is contagious and she is a grounding force for those around her. Unfortunately, due to the severity of this diagnosis, doctors are requiring rigorous treatment and she has been forced to take a leave of absence from work. As such, she is incurring significant costs associated with her medical treatments, pain management, and additional expenses.
A few details of what we know:
o Undiagnosed since 2016
o Life expectancy is 5 years or less without treatment
o Cancer has metastasized to her bones
o Doctors are unsure about what organs will be impacted next
o 80% chance of being cured with aggressive treatments
I would love for an opportunity to demonstrate the level of love and support that we, as her network, have for her....
There are three ways we can support Chané :
1. Prayer for healing: We know that God is a healing God and is still in the miracle working business! Thus, we pray for complete healing in the name of Jesus.
2. Financial support: No donation is too big or too small and every little bit counts. Treatment is extremely expensive and her treatment plan will total over $30k of out of pocket expenses.
3. Tips/Support: If anyone has experienced success with how to deal with cancer and chemo side effects (e.g., pain, nausea, fatigue, etc.) please pass on any useful info! :)
To friends and family who are personally affected, we understand that this is difficult news because we are still processing ourselves. Please understand that within a matter of moments, everything has changed for Chané (& us as her family) and she could use our love and support.
