Chalus was a gentle giant who loved spending time outdoors. He grew up in Canada and loved going on walks, biking, and hiking frequently. About a year ago Chalus moved from Canada down to Utah to join the rest of his family.
Chalus is not to experienced or familiar with the terrain in Provo.
Wednesday October 7th Chalus left to go for a hike. He left around 4 in the evening and headed off trail. With little light remaining in the sky Chalus slipped off the mountain.
When he didnt return home wednesday night, we declared him as missing. After great efforts of so many from both our home in Canada and in Utah, with many prayers of comfort and love, Chalus's body was recovered at the bottom of the mountain up in Little Rock Canyon.
Anything donated would be appreciated and our hearts are full of grattitude for all the love and support shown by so many.
