Chair Lift For Grandma
Donation protected
Grandma and Aunt Bernice live in a town home that requires them to use the stairs quite frequently. As Grandma has gotten older (97 and still going strong) and Bernice has suffered from knee issues, traveling up and down the stairs has begun to take a toll on them both. Among other things, they have to use the stairs to access the main living area and to use the bathroom as there is no bathroom on the main level. This requires them to travel on those stairs several times a day which is especially hard on Bernice’s knees and an increased risk of falling / injury to them both.
To ensure both of their safety, I am asking that we come together and purchase and install a chair lift. The requested amount on this go fund me page is the amount of the preferred chair plus the 8.9% service fee that Go Fund me charges to use their service.
Contributions at any amount are welcomed and encouraged, however, please consider giving $100-$200.
Go Fund ME gives you the option to include your name on the contribution or donate anonymously. Please choose which option you prefer. If you have any questions /concerns about this endeavor, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help! I am encouraged that with financial contributions of all of you, we can make this happen.
