For the past year, I have been volunteering in an area of Louisville where many chained dogs live outside without adequate shelter or the freedom to escape harsh weather. Other concerned volunteers and I have filmed violations, reported cases of neglect, and found new homes for dogs who would otherwise still be left out in the bitter cold. I'm also dedicated to advocating for stronger laws to protect these animals—including making it illegal to chain dogs.
But laws alone aren’t enough. We need to change hearts and minds, and that’s why I’m launching this awareness campaign. With your help, I can place billboards in strategic locations in the Louisville area where chained dogs are most often seen. These billboards will educate the public, encourage reporting of neglect, and inspire more people to speak up for animals who cannot speak for themselves.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward billboard costs. The more we raise, the more ad placements we can secure, increasing our reach and impact. I’m asking for your support to raise awareness of this urgent issue. Together, we can make Louisville a kinder, safer place where dogs get the love and care they deserve. Thank you for standing with me—and for them.
P.S. If you care about animals, I encourage you to join me at Kentucky Animal Action Day at the capital on February 4th. Registration required.
