It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the sudden and tragic passing of Chad Herrera on May 19th due to an underlying heart condition. Chad was 29-years-old. This is a memorial fund set up by cousins of Chad Herrera. We want to raise money to cover all memorial expenses. This is our tangible way of carrying on Chad's legacy of love and generosity.
Chad had the kindest heart and he made everyone around him feel so special and included. He and his fiancé, Misty shared a love for art — they enjoyed spending their time in Santa Rosa painting and sketching together. Chad loved being surrounded by family and friends and embraced everybody with a kind smile. He was a tremendous brother to both Andrew and Brandon, and a loving son, grandson, nephew and cousin.
Chad’s passing was unexpected and heartbreaking but we know he’s up in heaven with our beautiful Nana making tamales and laughing.
He was a wonderful person who left us far too soon. Any contributions mean so much to our family and will help us celebrate Chad the way he deserves.
