Chad vs. Leukemia

Donation protected
After feeling under the weather for awhile, Chad went to Morristown Medical Center on the afternoon of January 2, 2014. By that evening he had been diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL) and Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC).

He underwent extensive testing through the night and started aggressive treatment right away. He will stay in the medical ICU during the first phase of his treatment, which should last several weeks.

Chad's treatment will be long and debilitating, and it will be quite some time before he will be able to return to work. Those who wish to help defray the staggering out-of-pocket costs of his experimental treatment are invited to make a contribution.

He and his family sincerely appreciate your support! To follow his progress on Caring Bridge, please visit http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/chaddlugolecki
