Situated in downtown Quebec City since three years, The Chabad House welcomes people from all over the world and from different backgrounds, making it a vital and indispensable asset in Jewish life.
In addition to regularly welcoming the local community and the young students of University of Laval, every person that visits Quebec City will be sure to find a warm and friendly home where he’ll encounter a pleasant and memorable experience.
Today, we are asking YOU to help and participate in the following Chabad House renovations, which will take place in 3 phases:
1) Constructing a Mikvah in Quebec City for the first time
2) Development of a youth club
3) Establishment of Club Torah Junior for children
The first phase is in progress; the Mikvah construction has already begun.
Communities worldwide have recognized the necessity of a Mikveh, a bath used for ritual immersion, as an essential part of Jewish tradition. As far away as Anchorage in Alaska, Bogota in Colombia and Nice in France, beautiful and comfortable Mikvahs help both men and women in their journey to building a solid Jewish connection. Quebec City will no longer be that sad exception!

Située depuis trois ans dans le centre ville de Québec pour accueillir des personnes de tout horizon, La Maison Chabad est un incontournable dans la vie juive.
En plus d’accueillir la communauté locale et les jeunes étudiants de l’Université Laval de façon régulière, chaque personne de passage à Québec sait qu’elle trouvera un lieu d’accueil pour passer un moment agréable.
Aujourd’hui, nous avons besoin de VOUS pour la rénovation de la Maison Chabad en trois phases:
1) La construction du Mikvé de Québec
2) L'amenagement d'un foyer étudiant
3) La création du "Club Torah Junior" pour enfants
La première phase est entamée, les travaux du Mikvé ont déjà commencé.
L'importance du Mikvé
Les communautés du monde entier ont reconnu la nécessité d’un Mikvé « bain rituel » comme partie essentielle de l’observance juive. Aussi loin que Anchorage en Alaska, Bogota en Colombie, et Nice en France, des beaux mikvés et confortables aident les hommes et les femmes dans leur quête pour établir des foyers juifs solides. Québec ne sera plus la triste exception !
L’immersion dans un Mikvé est une façon d’attirer Hachem et ses bénédictions à l’intérieur du mariage.

כיום אנחנו צריכים את התרומה שלכם כדי לחדש את בית החב"ד שלנו
:אלו שלושת המטרות לחידוש בית החב"ד
1- הקמת המקווה הראשון בעיר
2- חידוש בית הסטודנט
3- הקמת בית לימוד תורה לילדים
חשוב לציין שהשיפוצים כבר התחילו
קהילות מכל העולם מכירות בצורך מקווה כחלק בלתי נפרד מהיהדות
היום המקווה הקרוב לקוויבק נמצא בעיר הגדול - מונטריאל, שנמצא כשלוש שעות נסיעה
טבילה במקווה הינה דרך למשוך את אלוקים ואת הברכות שלו בתוך החתונה והמשפחה
