Rydym yn dîm o fenywod o Langrannog a Phontgarreg, gorllewin Cymru. 
Ein bwriad yw i ddathlu llwyddiannau a dylanwad pellgyrhaeddol yr arwres Cranogwen. Mi fydd pob ceiniog a gyfrannir yn mynd tuag at godi cerflun efydd ohoni er mwyn diolch iddi am arwain y ffordd ac i ysbrydoli’r genhedlaeth nesa’.

Cranogwen Community Monument 

Sarah Jane Rees, known by her bardic name Cranogwen 1839 - 1916
Mariner, poet, teacher, journalist, preacher, campaigner

We are a female project team from the communities of Llangrannog and Pontgarreg, west Wales. Our aim is to celebrate the ambition and success of our pioneering local heroine Cranogwen. The funds raised will provide a life-sized bronze statue to commemorate her life and achievements to inspire the next generation.

Newyddion gwych, oherwydd yr holl gefnogaeth a rhoddion hael rydym wedi cyrraedd ein targed cyntaf o £10000. Rydym yn parhau I godl arian er mwyn medru cynhyrchu teyrnged haeddianol I’r fanyw eithriadol oedd Sarah Jane Rees – felly plis cadwch rhoi!

Mae nawrwedi ei gytuno y bydd y cerflun yn cael ei osod yn yr ardd gymunedol, diolch I Bwyllgor Lles Llangrannog, drws nesa’ I Gapel Bancyfelin ble roedd Sarah nid yn unig yn aelod ond mi wnaeth hi gyfrannu at gostiau adeiladau’r capel yn dilyn teithio America.

Oso es gennychunrhyw wybodaeth, straeon, llen gwerin am Cranogwen neu’n perthyn mi fyddem wrth ein bod yn clywed gennych.

21.05.2021 update: Excellent news everyone your fantastic support has meant that we have reached our first target of £10000.  We are
continuing to raise funds so we can produce a monument project that will truly reflect our formidable pioneering heroine. 
It is now agreed that the statue will be sited in the village garden which has been kindly donated by Lles Llangrannog Welfare Committee. The site is next to Bancyfelin Chapel partly funded by Cranogwen after touring America and is across the road from her grave.
