Who Am I?
My name is Lonnie Bush, I am a professional fitness trainer with a passion to help cancer patients.

My Short Story:
In November 2009 I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. The most aggressive form of breast cancer a woman can battle. 
I know the Lord left me here as a survivor to assist cancer patients while going through their battle.
My Vow is to do just that!

After My Battle With Cancer I Started Giving Back
I started out donating wigs, head scarfs, paying co-pays, assisting with groceries, utility bills,  prescriptions, rides to doctor appointments, and funding funeral cost. When the need arises and the donations have run out I assist patients from my personal funds, and something as simple as offering encouraging words or a shoulder to cry on.

Special Events For Cancer Patients
I host events all year round to assist all cancer patients, women, men, and children such as:
Back To School Giveaways
Mother’s Day Makeovers 
Thanksgiving Dinners (where their families can come have dinner at my gym or we will deliver to any patient that’s not feeling well). 
Pink Christmas (where patients come and shop for free for gifts for themselves and their families).

Fundraising Events
I have been able to fund most of the give-aways through annual fundraisers which includes:
Garage Sales, Basketball Games, Fashion Shows, Bike Rides, Speaking Engagements, and from the sales of my book titled: 
“Cancer Was My Blessing”.

I need your help:
There is an opportunity for me to acquire a building large enough to house a fitness center (Lonnie Bush Fitness) and Celebration of Life (Non Profit Organization)
$25,000 Dollars is needed for building materials, and architects so the rennovations to accomadate cancer patient needs and services can be provided.
*Cancer patients will have a separate entrance from the clients coming in to the fitness center.
*A private area where they can get the emotional support they need. 
*Scarfs and wigs service area, etc.
*Rooms for support groups with a Chaplain
*Celebration of Life Room where patients can come get items needed while they battle such as:
Pharmacy Gift Cards,
Bra’s needed for after surgery,
Compression Socks,
Healthy Food & Smoothie Information.
The facility will also be a place where survivors can volunteer to assist and encourage patients through their treatments.
