We had taken mama bobby to the hospital on May 28, the hospital admitted her and took her up to the 5th floor to the care unit. The next day they gave her a blood transfusion which made her decline much more faster. We tried to raise up fund to get her in to hospice to make sure she was comfortable in that time as we were told her was actively passing. And there wasn't anything for the hospital to do on their end.
We are incredibly thankful for the nurse who called and told us to rush up there as she can go at any moment. And we did just that. She waited until we both got there and for my husband to say its ok mama, we got this now go be wit Joey, (his little brother, who's been waiting for his family on the otherside for a while, to greet them as they crossed over). Only a short time after that she did just that! We will forever miss her and I wish I had known her longer then I did cause she was a fun, creative, passionate bad ass of a person, and had a heart, we are wanting to honor her wishes that she talk with my future husband about.
Mrs. Bobbie Vandervort, was an extraordinary person this world now has to live without, she now leaves behind her only living son behind and grandbabies and friends and her only living brother. Anything that is contribute to this tremendously help in so many more ways than you can possibly think.
