Celebrating Steven!

Hi!

Thanks for coming to the GoFundMe page for Steven & Sarah.

For those of you that don't know, Steven was diagnosed with ALS in 2021 and is now living with late-stage ALS. ALS is a progressive nervous system disease that affects motor nerves in the brain and spinal cord, causing a loss of muscle control. It's a devastating loss of function, and unfortunately, there is no cure. But as with all aspects of life, Steven and Sarah have approached this head-on, and are doing their best to live their best lives every day. Late-stage ALS requires full-time care and support from Sarah, Steven's care team, as well as friends and family.

Throughout the last two years, they haven't asked for much, but now, they need our help.

This is where you come in! As Steven looks to how he can continue to celebrate life over these next few months, he's decided he wants to live life on his terms and enjoy that time with ALL of you! Yep, Steven wants nothing more than to spend quality time with all his beautiful family and friends that he LOVES so dearly, who he's shared his life with, and created fantastic memories with. To accomplish this, we (his amazing friends and family) need to help support Steven & Sarah on this journey.

In true Steven character - he'd like to celebrate his final sunset by spending his time with all of you in one BIG HOUSE, what’s now being deemed “The Ultra House”. In essence, one continuous house party to end all house parties. (OK, not a full-on rager, but you get the idea). To make this happen, they need to rent a house so that Steven can live there comfortably because of the limitations of late-stage ALS, while also giving everyone the ability to either stay or visit to spend that much wanted and needed quality time with him. In essence, this will be a home for ALL of you!

As many of you know - their current 1 bedroom is way too small to make this happen. You can't fit more than 1-2 people max at a time. Also, everyone lives all over (his family and oldest friends are in Australia), so a home with a few extra rooms for guests to stay to spend quality time, would make this wish a reality.

If you could please consider helping, that would be wonderful. So, let's help Steven (aka Steppers, Steak, Steppendawg) go out with a bang!
