Celebrating the life of Joseph Russo

It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the devastating news that I’ve lost my older brother, Joseph Russo.He passed away unexpectedly, at just 25 years old.

Joey had an energy that was so intense.

You knew when he walked in a room because of his contagious smile and his heart was filled with so much love.

Joey was not only my brother, he was my best friend. We shared an unbreakable bound.

 I want to give you a little insight so you can understand our lives. When we were very young we lost our mother.

After that, we went to live with our aunt Trisha to only lose her a few years later as well. At that point of our lives we were both placed in foster care until we became of age.

Then most recently we lost our father.

Because of all the trauma we experienced growing up, my brother suffered with  mental health issues and addiction.

His sudden departure has left me heartbroken and struggling to cope with this unimaginable loss, especially during the holiday season.

Your contribution will go directly toward covering the costs associated with him being placed with our mom and to have a small memorial service for him and any additional expenses as I work to give my brother the farewell he deserves.
