Travel to Celebrate Scott & kids

A few days ago, a great man and his two children were lost to this world. Through a lot of pain, tears, prayers, and we are trying to hope in Jesus.
I am raising funds to go to the Celebration of Life this Sunday.
The estimated expenses are:
Plane ticket - $1848.21 (16-20 Dec)
Estimated Hotel - $800 (possibley less)
Misc - $351.79 (other expenses - rental, fees, etc)
There are no words to describe what is going on in our hearts, and the hearts of Scott's wife, Julie and his two sons, Sam and Josh. If there are any unused funds, my long term heart is to set up a Valor/Lifelines ministry fund for Cadets who struggle to raise support for missions like the Alaskan Leadership Adventure that I served with Scott's family for many years.
I know they are with Jesus and that certainly provides comfort. But we want them here. Living in a world without this man is a poorer one for it. May his legacy live though that countless cadets, fathers, sons, Sam, Josh, and Julie, that he has impacted.
