To say that Tom Acosta was a special person would be a gross understatement.  Tom Acosta was an RC racer, a musician, an airbrush artist, a teacher, a father, a brother, a son, a husband, a man of God and a best friend to many.

It's not easy to type this... but I regret to announce that this morning (2/2/15) Tom decided with God to leave us in peace after a sudden illness.  

The family does not want anyone to remain "down" for too long.  More than anything - Tom always wanted to laugh, sing, race.. and he loved everyone who he called a friend FIERCELY.  He was a giver and a teacher and would want everyone he had impact on to celebrate life... because he knew it was so precious.

The family is currently organizing his formal services at The Rock Church and World Outreach Center in San Bernardino, California as well as a "Test & Tune" race + jam concert in Hurst, Texas so that all his friends across the country can be together to celebrate his life.  As these plans become more solid we will release more details.  

For now - we are asking for donations towards the expenses of transportation and his final resting wishes in lieu of flowers.  We would like to honor Tom in a way that would only rival the size of his laugh and smile.  Even if all you can donate is a story or picture of your favorite memory.. the family will use these contributions towards this celebration of his life.
