Celebrate Emjay!

We celebrate the life of our beloved Michael Joseph aka Emjay, our dear friend and brother, who passed on January 29th. Emjay was deeply loved. Many know him from the endless hours of joy he provided on the dancefloor, those of us who were lucky enough got to taste the love through a plate of food at his home, and many of us called him brother.

We’ve been asked how you can support us during this time of grief and healing. We extend our deepest gratitude for your condolences and offerings-- true care comes from community. If you are able to support us with funds, we are raising $10,000 for costs related to getting Emjay’s remains home to Trinidad one last time, funeral services in Brooklyn and Trinidad, burial, flights for his mother, etc.
