Summer Holiday 2020 for Children with Cavernoma
Help give 100 children and their families the gift of a summer holiday, and a well-deserved break from life with Cavernoma. For every £168 raised a child will be gifted 4 days of special memories.
Zane has multiple Cavernomas in his brain, several the size of raspberries. He's one of very few children in the world with the rare CCM3 form and faces the daily risk of a brain bleed. Zane's an incredible fighter and despite his condition has an inspiring zest for life. Zane and his family having been coming to our Summer Holidays since they first started. In their words:

Every year Cavernoma Alliance UK , a UK registered charity, hosts a 4-day free Summer Holiday for impacted families. This holiday is a much-needed opportunity for children with Cavernoma to come together. To feel part of a wider community and less alone with this rare condition.
Cavernomas look like raspberries, are typically found in the brain, and cause strokes, seizures and serious neurological problems. Sadly, treatment options are limited. Whilst we're working hard to find a cure, life is tough in the meantime for children with this condition.
During our Summer Holidays we offer a range of fun activities for children and siblings to enjoy. Parents and carers have the opportunities for respite, and through-out the break talking therapies are accessible to all the families.
In 2020 we're heading off to the Peak District for 4 fun-packed days from the 28th to 31st August . We've got the venue and the families. Now we need your help paying for it as funding from our current fabulous donor, Global's Make Some Noise , comes to an end in 2020.
