Cassie's Rally Against Cancer

On behalf of the Murray family, we have created this
page for our loved one, Cassie Murray. Cassie has been diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal, Triple Negative breast cancer, which is a cancer that is HER-2 negative, ER negative, and PR negative. Unfortunately, this specific type of cancer can be highly aggressive, difficult to treat and is more likely to spread and reoccur. The size of the invasive component of the tumor and the number of lymph nodes with cancer will greatly influence Cassie’s prognosis.

Due to the aggressive nature of this cancer, Cassie
will go through a minimum of five months of
chemotherapy. Cassie’s first treatment was on July 7,
2015. During the first two months, Cassie will undergo chemo treatments every other week and the last three months she will receive treatments every week. After the first round of chemotherapy, additional tests will performed and a new treatment plan will be developed at that time.

Cassie is married to Eric Murray and they have three
children: Daniel, 21, Colby, 10, and Karly, 5. Cassie
is a very positive and outgoing person who loves her
family dearly. Even during this difficult time of her
life she continues to think of others and puts everyone
before herself. Cassie has worked for Hugh M.
Cunningham Companies for 16 years and continues to work as much as she possibly can as she loves what she does and the people she works for and with.

We are asking that you help us show the Murray family how much we love and support them. A mealtrain (food calendar) account has been set up. This account is to help out with family meals during the weeks of Cassie’s chemo treatments. In addition to scheduling meals for the family, the family will need assistance coordinating transportation to and from Cassie’s treatments starting in September 2015.
