Our "Sunshine" was suddenly ripped from our lives on April 17th 2015 as she arrived to her work.
The loss of a child/sister is a difficult experience to work through. Especailly when your child or sister was taken suddenly at the hands of complete strangers that for no reason at all just decide to murder her!!! Most of us expect to die before a child—even if we’d rather not think about death at all.
Everyone lives and deals with sorrow in different ways. Some find they have a multitude of grief emotions to work with. This is especially true for the loss of a child. You are also grieving a lifetime of dreams and hopes for her and all that she was meant to become.
We were told that: Two scared girls approuched her for help and as typical of our Cassandra she stopped to lend them her cell phone to call for help. Suddenly a car pulled up , one "bully with a gun" jumped out of car and started up the driveway towards her and shot our beautiful innocent 24year old daughter, sister, bestfriend!
We are lost without her and our lives drasticly changed that dreadful night our Sunshine was stolen from our lives. We are trying to hold on , take care of Cassandra even in death and take care of her business. Cassandra was always such a perfectionist in paying her bills and taking care of everything...we are trying to honor her.
Cassandra has a car that she worked so very hard to save her down payment for, qualify for loan on own , then worked full time while going to school full time! We want to pay off that loan and keep her car and treasure it as a valued memory of our Sunshine......
Please help us to hold on to what we have left of our Sunshine!
