Post-Fire Recovery: Casa Witkowski

Due to the intense firestorms raging here in the North Bay in California, many wonderful people have suffered the great loss of their homes and so much that they have worked for all their lives. Two of those great people affected are Mike & Jane Witkowski, who are the parents of one of my dearest friends. The Witkowski's were on one of their epic adventurous trips to Utah when disaster struck their tightly-knit community of Glen Ellen in Sonoma. As such, the timing did not allow for them to grab those cherished items that all of us have on our must grab lists before evacuating. Jane is known to have held many fantastic events at their beloved home: a holiday cookie exchange/ bake-off and the rumored most amazing Thanksgiving dinner in all the land. After 44 years of fond memories, a new home to carry on these cherished traditions will need to be rebuilt. Donations of any size will be so greatly appreciated and will be sent to Mike and Jane directly to assist during this tough, transitional time. Thanks for your continued support and healing wishes as the road to recovery and rebuilding begins for the Witkowski family and so many others affected by these fires.
