In Loving Memory of Carroll Brown

Donation protected
Carroll Dean Brown, born April 1, 1936, was one of the finest men to walk this Earth. As you all are aware, he moved to Heaven on Saturday, September 17.  He leaves behind, his wife of 35 years, Nancy Brown, 1 daughter & son-in-law, 3 sons & 3 daughters-in-law, 10 grandchildren, a large extended family, and countless others that claim him as their own. He is dearly loved and terribly missed. He had a severe stroke in June of last year, and never fully recovered from it. As a result, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Microvascular Disease, which ultimately took his life.
Carroll was a legend. In his very early life, he worked with his Dad building & upholstering furniture. He loved working with his hands. But that wasn't the only thing! He also learned how to overhaul and work on cars. He, along with his Father, even had their own drag racer-The Texas Termite. He & the Termite won many races.
Time progressed, and he accomplished many things in his lifetime. One of those was his greatest business accomplishment. He started and built a construction company, that evolved into a specialized niche-the installation of heavy timber beams, arches, & decking. He taught his sons this trade, and the work ethic the boys posses can not be matched. Brown and Sons provided a comfortable and exciting living for the entire Brown family, and all of the crew members throughout it's 25 years in business.
Unfortunately, one of the downfalls of being a small business owner, is that preparing for the future is difficult to say the least. It's generally feast or famine, and the owner can only hope to end in a feast! Sadly, this was not the case for Carroll. The economic meltdown of 2008, had a trickle down effect on the business and many things had to be "let go". One of those was his term life insurance policy. He & Nancy knew it was a risk, but ultimately they were left with no choice. While they had a savings, because of the state of Medicare as it is, and their increased health issues, their savings is...well...gone.
So here Nancy is, in need of help. Here's the deal, she would NEVER ask for help. But as her family, we can. We have stepped up to the plate as much as we can, but with 3 weddings in our near future, we are stretched thin.
So in lieu of flowers for Carroll's memorial service, we are asking for donations to help cover expenses for Nancy over the upcoming days, weeks, and months ahead. It would take a tremendous load off of her mind, to be able to not stress and worry about this aspect of life for a while. It would be a huge blessing to us, as her family, to know that she is adaquetly taken care of.
Your generosity will be forever appreciated. And you will be laying up treasure in Heaven.  And if you can not give right now, that's ok!! We only ask that you will agree with us in prayer, that all of her needs will be supplied according to God's riches in glory. He is more than enough, and ultimately that's what Carroll taught us. That at the end of the day, God will ALWAYS come through.
We love and appreciate you all.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, both spiritually and physically.
