The Carrie Can Project was created to help Fayette County families access affordable spay and neuter services for their dogs.
Through a partnership with Connersville Veterinary Clinic, this program helps offset the cost of spay and neuter procedures for Fayette County residents. The project is funded through grants, donations, and participant fees, making veterinary care more accessible for local families.
We have already received nearly 100 applications, demonstrating the tremendous need for affordable pet care in our community. Every donation directly supports veterinary services and allows us to help more dogs while reducing unwanted litters and shelter overcrowding.
The project is named in honor of my Great Aunt Candance, whose love for animals inspired a legacy of compassion and community service.
At its core, the Carrie Can Project is built on a simple belief: every dog deserves access to basic veterinary care, regardless of financial circumstances.
Thank you for helping us strengthen our community, one dog at a time.
