Hi! My name is Cole Carpenter, and I am attempting to raise money to send my mother to the Super Bowl to watch the Los Angeles Rams win it all, in memory of my father, Guy Carpenter. As anyone who had the opportunity to meet him knew, Guy was a diehard Rams fan his entire life. During their original stint in LA, he had the chance to attend several games with his father, and upon their return decades later, he made sure I got to experience that as well. Even through hardship, whether with the team (a 12 year playoff drought) or within his own life (several resolute battles against cancer), he never lost hope or his fighting spirit for what he believed in. From the very start to the premature end, he was a rams fan through and through. After an unbelievable season like this, I feel like there's no better way to honor his sports aficionado spirit than to send my mother, the one who got to experience so many ups and downs of Rams football with him, to the biggest stage to see his team win it all in their own stadium.
Additional proceeds will be donated to the American Brain Tumor Association (abta.org), working to help fund future brain tumor support and research.
