Carol's recovery from brain injury

Donation protected
Carol Bryn (Pens) our loving mother, grandmother and family caretaker, was recovering from back surgery in hospital when a perfect storm of negligent actions lead to a nasty fall. She hit her head in the fall and suffered a blood clot on her brain which led to an emergency craniotomy due to the fact that she had lost all use of the right side of her body and was in and out of consciousness. The clot and subsequent surgery caused brain injuries that will require years of treatment at best. She spent a month in Spalding Rehab hospital re-learning how to walk, talk, write and survive day to day. Today, she has recovered a lot, but Carol is unable to drive, read, look at a computer screen, or work. She also suffers from daily migraines, exhaustion, and dizziness every time she moves. Family and friends are doing what they can, but times are tight. Money will go towards medical bills, transportation and living expenses. Carol has fought through so much for herself and everyone else she knows. It will take more than a little brain injury to keep this sweet soul down!
