Capt. Wright's Medical Expense Fund

Donation protected
Today, we are calling on the community that Captain Bill Wright has spent 30 years serving to help us help him and his family.

On Monday March 7, 2016, Captain Bill Wright of the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department was off duty helping another firefighter repair a building on his property when a terrible accident occurred.  Captain Wright was found at the bottom of a fallen ladder unconscious and not breathing.   The other firefighter and his paramedic wife called for help, started CPR, and successfully resuscitated Captain Wright.   Captain Bill Wright suffered devastating head and back injuries, has undergone hours of surgery, and will require many  months of intensive physical therapy to heal.

Bill was employed with a major oil company for 36 years.  Last fall, Bill was caught up in a round of lay-offs that further complicates Bill's medical care and recovery.

We, the members of the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department, are asking for your help as we help one of our communities finest public servants.   Could you please donate today toward Bill's medical care and family needs?   Anything will help and be greatly appreciated. The proceeds will go directly to Bill's family as they care for a man who has dedicated so much of his life helping others.

Thank you for your consideration and generous support of Captain Bill Wright and his family.

Sincerely,

Gary M. Vincent
