Medical and Personal Expense Fund For CandyMcCoy

Hi everyone, I am Candy's mom, Carol. Ever since family and friends heard the news of Candy's second bout with cancer, they have been asking what they could do to help her. Leslie David from North Carolina suggested a fund be set up to help with current and future months expenses that are not covered by her insurance. This has been a long journey. After repeated tests and 4 trips to ER, Candy was finally admitted to Seidman Cancer Center on July 5th. Her surgery is scheduled for July 15th, she will remain in Cleveland until surgery is done. If an Operating Room open up before the 15th, she may get in sooner.. When I talked to her about the idea of a fund, she said she didn't want one.  She is very independent and never likes to ask for anything but after all of the inquires, I convinced her to let me do it.  Candy has been blessed with local angels providing home cooked meals (Frannie), restaurant favorites, she is very picky about her restaurant choices(Jason), Madsen Donuts (Tiffany) and other support from family. A lot has happened in the last six months.  She went from working full time, often even overtime, to hardly being able to work because of the pain the mass was causing her.  Things changed so quickly that her last trip to ER she could hardly walk.   Life is precious, family and friends priceless. Remember to keep your loved ones close, everyone needs to know they are loved.  Please do not feel you have to donate to this fund. Cards and prayers are also appreciated.
