On May 4th, 2018 our amazing friend Sheena was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Just a short time after starting Chemotherapy the diagnoses turned to Metastatic Breast Cancer after it spread to her lymph nodes. Treatments were heavily increased and there was a short period of time in which doctors had held out hopes that the cancer could be defeated, yet life took a harsh turn……After genetic testing they found that she possessed a gene that rapidly advanced the acceleration of cancer spreading.
On November 15th, 2018 Shenna found out the cancer had now spread to her brain. As if this news wasn’t already difficult enough to endure, she was informed that the cancer is no longer responding to treatment.

Sheena Hann is a 34yr old Veteran who served in the United States Army from 2007–2013. She deployed with 1-10 Cavalry, 4th Infantry Division to Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2011 to 2012 and was Honorably discharged in 2013 as a Staff Sergeant (E-6).

Sheena, her partner Kylee and their two fur babies came into our lives years ago and made a permanent impact. Whether it be celebrating the holidays together, concocting mad science experiments, going on motorcycle/camping trips, grabbing a drink at the bars while singing our hearts out to karaoke, nature walks with the fur pups or even just relaxing at the house talking about life, reasoning out the mysteries of the universe or solving the problems of the world, there has never been a dull moment.

Sheena and her partner have been there for us anytime we have needed anything, from a shoulder to lean on to babysitting our son whom they have watched grow year after year and adores them both tremendously. Now it’s time for us to do whatever we can to help them!

Sheena is the epitome of a bada**, and through all of this has chosen to live the life she has to the fullest, from being able to still find laughter and joy in the little things, to skydiving, and after 5 years together finally getting the chance to marry her loving partner Kylee who has been her greatest supporter through thick and thin.
Sheena has been able to visit 49/50 states and would love to add the 50th state to her life’s journey and spend a week in the beautiful paradise of Hawaii with her partner Kylee away from the hospitals and stress of everyday life. With the unexpected diagnoses they were unable to have a honeymoon and now with no longer responding to treatment it is unlikely if they’ll ever have the chance.
The GoFund me was set up to help raise them the funds to go on a Final Vacation and afford the cost of flights, hotel accommodations, food and activity expenses. Any funds left over from the vacation will be used to help ease the financial stress and provide support to help Kylee in caring for Sheena and their fur babies as her treatments will stop.
No donation is too small, even if you cannot donate yourself it would be very much appreciated if you could share the GoFund me others. Thank you for your time in reading this, and thank you in advance if you are able to help.
I will update this post as more information comes along.
