Steve Urman was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic small cell carcinoma of the prostate (a rare stage 4 prostate cancer).
He has gone through 4 rounds of chemotherapy, which his body has unfortunately not responded to.
He will be heading down to the Mayo Clinic for a second opinion in hopes to extend his life. That’s all he wants! That’s what we all want! This is our goal!
For anyone that knows Steve, knows he is a proud man and doesn’t care for hand outs. He has worked very hard his whole life, but is now coming to the realization that cancer and all its treatments (while not working) are very expensive.
His insurance will not cover any new upcoming chemotherapy treatments because they are still “new.” That being said, some of these new treatments have had great results on small cell prostate cancer patients.
By raising this money, it will help Steve with his expenses that are accumulating from his traveling back and forth from his appointments, room stays, gas money, his regular bills that are adding up, and most importantly a new treatment plan that may help him extend his life!
He says he still has a lot to do in his life
Any monetary donation would help him at this time.
Thank You!
