Student Ambassador- Study Abroad

HI!!! My name is Cameron Warren and I am the 15yr old son of Bertram Warren and Sharone Bethea. I am striving to become a Student Ambassador with the People to People program. With a little help from YOU, this could be made possible!
Throughout my academic career I have been recognized as an outstanding student, having taken advanced and gifted classes all while remaining on Honor Roll. Maintaining academic excellence has allowed me to participate and attend leadership programs in Washington, D.C. with the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in 2010 and receive many more nominations such as Junior National Young Leaders Alumni Conference in Boston, the National Young Leaders State Conference, the Global Young Leaders Conference and the Congress of Future Medical Leaders. I also have been nominated for an award of excellence by the National Academy of Future Physicians & Medical Scientists and the Academy of Law & Criminal Justice. In addition to these nominations, I have also won the All American Scholar Award from the United States Achievement Academy, in which I am one of the top 5% of students within the United States and placed in the All American Scholar Yearbook. Apart from academics, I am a valued member of the Valdosta High Wrestling team, having won multiple tournaments in my weight class and very involved in a school linked program for scholarships opportunities called SMILE.
Well enough about me telling yall how smart I am :-), right now I have been presented with a new opportunity of a lifetime! One far greater than my earlier leadership programs, with so much more to offer and experience to gain. I AM SO EXCITED!! Based on my scholastic merit, leadership potential and exemplary citizenship, I was nominated and accepted by the organization People to People, to become a “Student Ambassador” and travel across Europe to study abroad over the summer. This trip provides a unique opportunity for educational growth with a chance to learn more about and experience different cultures, which can help me develop beyond the classroom. My involvement as a Student Ambassador will earn me academic credit, perform service-learning hours and provide me with a competitive edge on college and scholarship applications. I will be sincerely grateful if you can extend your help and support and thank you in advance!
