Harvest Youth Cambodia Mission Trip
Tax deductible
I'm THRILLED to have the opportunity to lead a team of 3 adults and 6 students on a 3-week trip to share the love of Jesus Christ in Cambodia, an impoverished country where 95% of the population are Buddhist!
These students are in a discipleship program and serve in numerous aspects of the ministry, such as feeding the homeless, leading bible studies and small groups, working at summer camps and childrens programs, and much more! This mission trip will be an excellent opportunity for them to share their faith, use their skills and talents and continue to grow in their faith as they experience the people, the culture and the work of the ministry on the mission field.
We're raising $10,000, which will cover the costs for all 9 members of the mission team while in Cambodia, such as food, vehicle, gas and lodging. Each team member will raise their own personal support to pay for air-fare. Any money leftover will be used to buy food, clothes and supplies for the David Center Orphanage.
All Donations will go through Harvest Fellowship, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
We'll be working directly with Setan Lee, who found Jesus in the Killing Fields, where several million Cambodians were executed by the Khmer Rouge regime. (Watch this short video about Setan!)
Setan founded TransformAsia in 1995 and has spend the past 20 years preaching the gospel and serving the needs of the Cambodian people through numerous rescue centers located across the country.
Our team will focus most of our time and effort at the David Center Orphanage, TransformAsia's Youth Camp and a local church in Anlong Veng, where we'll reach out to the local Cambodians. Additionally, we'll minister to some of the girls at the Women's Center and kids at the Joy Daycare Center.
The David Center - is an orphanage with 60 kids between the ages of 1 - 20. We'll be staying at the orphanage where we'll be helping them with their studies, (math, English, crafts and painting), playing games, making friends, and of course giving them lots of hugs and love!

TransformAsia Youth Camp - where 200-300 students come out for a 3-1/2 day camp. Most of the students that attend the camp are unreached Buddhists, so this is a wonderful opportunity for our youth team! American teens are a huge draw for the youth camp, and our team will share our testimonies, teach, lead groups and make friends!

The Women's Center - rescues girls, typically between 13-19 years old, from the sex trade by providing counseling, training and vocational opportunities to become self-supporting. Most girls spend about a year in the program to develop the life-skills necessary to survive on their own.

Joy Daycare Center - was formed to help the severely malnourished children who spent most of their day in the local dump as their parents scavenged through the rubbish for something to sell. TransformAsia has been able to develop the Joy Daycare Center and has been able to acquire vehicles to use when picking the children up every morning and taking them home in the evenings.

Thank you so much for your support, both in prayer and in your financial support! This young team is committed to a life of service to Jesus Christ, so this mission trip will not only serve to reach out to the Cambodians, but will also serve to develop these students as the seek to serve God in ministry throughout their life!
