The night of February 14th, Caleb faced an unimaginable tragedy—his apartment was engulfed in flames while he was sleeping. The fire department has deemed it to faulty electrical in his building.

The fire spread within the walls, leading to significant destruction, and by 2AM it was in flames. While we are grateful that he was taken to the hospital in serious condition and is now physically okay, the emotional and material loss is can’t be overstated.

He has lost everything he has worked so hard for. In this incredibly difficult time, we have the opportunity to lift up a friend and person who means so much to us. Caleb has been there for so many of us when we’ve needed. He is the type who has and is willing to give the shirt off his back for others. 

As he faces the daunting task of rebuilding his life, every contribution—no matter how small—will make a world of difference. ABC 4 news is doing a story. They were there when apartment management wouldn’t even let Caleb in the building to try and get essentials. He’s going to lose his healthcare job since he can’t get his work computer and has no clothes to go into work. The situation is beyond belief.
