Help Cait Kick the Shit out of Cancer

Our larger than life, selfless, talented and exceptional friend Caitlin (Smith) Eyerman was recently diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma (breast cancer). Caitlin is only 29, turning 30 soon and is eager to kick the shit out of this disease. 

As some of you can imagine, this came as quite a shock and was completely unexpected when she went in to ask her OBGYN to check out a lump she found while performing her own breast examination at home. A few mammograms and tests later, it was unfortunately confirmed that Caitlin was diagnosed with breast cancer. Next steps include an MRI and a breast surgeon oncologist who will be able to provide her with the options she can take to remove this cancer. 

As an RN, Caitlin is well versed in the medical field and naturally has a massive support system surrounding her in the form of family, friends, coworkers and of course, her loving (and handsome) husband and three pups. Unfortunately, the treatments and surgery's will not come cheap and we are asking if you are able to spare any funds to donate to help pay for these expenses. Caitlin is someone who is truly an angel among us. She is resilient, loving and has given her time and energy selflessly to those she loves and every day to complete strangers as part of her chosen profession. She's also an awesome dog mom.

In order to beat this beast, Caitlin is looking at immediate surgical options which may include post radiation and hormonal therapy solutions. 

We appreciate anything and everything you are able to donate!! If you are unable to do so, we completely understand and ask that you send positive thoughts, karma, prayers and love her way. Spread the word that early signs of breast cancer detection are imperative. Talking about breasts, self-examinations, mammograms, mastectomies and nipples are 100% NOT taboo. Talking about this could save a life!
