Tragedy has come to the beloved Caceres family and we are raising money to help them in this most difficult time. While on a family camping trip in mid-July, Heath suffered a serious head injury and spent over a week in the Intensive Care Unit in Modesto. The family stayed nearby the hospital to be with him daily, hours from home. Despite the immense work of the doctors and nurses, the endless love of his family, and the support of his friends, Heath passed away on July 29th with his wife Mariah at his bedside.

Everyone who knows Heath, his incredible wife, and their amazing family are devastated by these events. This terrible accident has also created untold financial burdens that will impact the family in the days, weeks, and months to come. We are hoping to help support the Caceres family by relieving some of the financial burdens they face.

Heath was a devoted husband to his wife Mariah, a loving son to Mila, and an amazing parent to their four daughters. Both Heath and Mariah have dedicated their lives to childhood education as adored teachers, and Heath in the past years as a school principal. They are incredible friends to so many and share their love of nature, family, and friendship with all they meet. A hero to the end, Heath will live on as an organ donor to save the lives of others.
