Carson McGraw is the 21 year old son of Fran McGraw and Carl Fred McGraw of Vredenburgh, Alabama.  On December 9, 2015, Carson was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ALL).  This is a rare type of leukemia, especially in someone so young.  Doctors determined the best treatment for Carson was a bone marrow transplant.  On March 23, 2016 Carson received his transplant and is currently being treated at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama.    He has endured several hospital stays, weekly visits to Birmingham, chemo treatments, radiation and other medications since his diagnosis.

How can you help Carson? Leukemia is a stubborn and difficult disease.  Even with great medical insurance, the cost of treatment is more than most families can manage.  It requires a substantial amount of emotional strength and financial resources.  This fund was created to help alleviate the financial burden that comes along with this terrible disease.  We all know that the battle against cancer is a tough one, and that it can be lengthy.  This is especially true with Leukemia. Any amount, large or small, will make a difference!

Beyond the need for monetary contributions, your prayers are greatly coveted!  Prayer is a powerful thing and we believe whole heartedly that Carson will be healed.  Please join us in lifting up Carson, his family and his medical team in your prayers.

Thank you in advance for your support!
