CHA Junior Academy Washington DC Trip

Christel House Academy is a charter school in Indianapolis, Indiana that serves the underprivileged population of the city. Over 90 percent of our school's population lives in poverty. At Christel House Academy we strive to give our students the best education not only to improve their academic ability and intelligence, but to enhance their lives by building social, leadership, and team building skills. Our goal is to educate our students in impactful ways that make learning go beyond the walls of the classroom. As such, we love to take our students out of the schoolhouse, and into the real world for field work, field trips, and research.

In March, 2014, Christel House Junior Academy (grades 7-8) is planning on taking a trip to Washington, D.C to kick off next year's Social Studies curriculum of United States History. However, due to the cost of the trip, and the socio-economic statuses of many of our students, as it stands, not many will be able to go. We are relying heavily on fundraising and donations in order to go.

Please donate to our fundraising page in order to support this valuable educational experience that our students will remember for the rest of their lives. Any amount, no matter how small, will help.

Thank you!
