Race for Grace
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
In November 2024, we commemorate 25 years since the loss of our beloved Grace, who was just 9 years old. This year, we want to make a special effort to celebrate her life by bringing friends and family together as much as we can.
The Cork City Marathon takes place on Sunday the 2nd and our team is growing. We're already humbled by the overwhelming response, with over 50 family and friends committed to representing the Grace Nolan Foundation in the 10k, half marathon, and full marathon events.
The Grace Nolan Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to funding research for Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT), a genetic disorder characterized by malformed blood vessels that can affect multiple organs of the body. More than 1.4 million individuals worldwide suffer from HHT, with 90% still undiagnosed. There is currently no cure for HHT.
If you’re curious to learn more about this disorder, here’s a great resource: [curehht.org/understanding-hht/what-is-hht/](https://curehht.org/understanding-hht/what-is-hht/)
As a family, we are immensely grateful for the constant support of our friends, who always show up to help create these special events.
We have a large area booked in Deep South from 1pm on the day. We can't wait to get everyone together!
