Support Christ's College Guildford's STEM Club and Greenpower F24 Electric Race Car Project

At Christ's College Guildford, we believe in empowering young minds to become the innovators, engineers, and problem-solvers of tomorrow. Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) club is an exciting space where students can explore their passion for technology, learn hands-on skills, and collaborate on real-world challenges. This year, we have an incredible opportunity to take their learning to the next level: building and racing our very own Greenpower F24 Electric Race Car!

What is the Greenpower Challenge?

The Greenpower Education Trust runs a national challenge where students design, build, and race electric vehicles. The competition not only inspires interest in engineering and sustainable technology but also builds teamwork, problem-solving skills, and creativity. The Greenpower F24 kit is a fantastic way for our students to apply their classroom knowledge in a fun and engaging way, while also learning about renewable energy and electric vehicle technology — essential skills for the future.

Why We Need Your Help

We’re aiming to raise £7000 to purchase a Greenpower F24 Electric Race Car Kit. This will enable our students to:

- Design and build a fully functioning electric vehicle.

- Learn about sustainable technologies and electric motors.

- Apply their knowledge of physics, mathematics, and engineering in a hands-on project.

- Work together as a team to compete in national Greenpower events.

Additionally, your support will help us grow our STEM club, allowing us to buy essential tools, equipment, and materials, and provide opportunities for more students to get involved in science and engineering activities.

What Your Donation Will Fund

- The Greenpower F24 Kit: This kit includes the car’s frame, wheels, motor, and essential components needed to build a race-ready electric vehicle.

- Safety Gear: Helmets, race suits, and safety equipment to ensure students can race safely.

- STEM Club Resources: Additional tools, educational resources, and materials for students to learn and thrive in STEM activities.

Why This Matters

With industries rapidly moving towards greener technologies, we want to give our students a head start by teaching them the skills they need to succeed in a sustainable future.
