Please help us create an international organization supporting Children Born of War and their rights!
After every war and conflict, there are children who live whole lives with stigma and persecution because they carry the genes of the enemy.
The examples are endless; as the estimated half a million children born during and after World War 2 by German or Japanese occupying forces and local women, the children of rape victims in the civil wars of Bosnia, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and the unknown number of children born by IS soldiers in recent years.
It's time to create an organization that will fight for this group of children. So please, help us collect the startup money needed to register "The Children Born of War Project" as an official foundation. All who contribute will be listed as founding funders of our foundation (unless you wish not to). Read more about the plans for the foundation and startup funds here. These Children Born of War need help from our global community! They need help to be seen and heard. As long as their fates remain invisible, nothing will change. Their suffering will continue.
This campaign is a unique collaboration between the leading, global scientists on Children Born of War (CBOW) and the people behind the mobile game "My Child Lebensborn". This game is created in collaboration with the Norwegian Lebensborn children born during World War II, and lets the player experience some of the hardships of growing up in a post-war community, carrying the genes of the enemy.
We dearly hope that the story in the game can help us reach out to people, and that the engagement the game creates can be translated into action - into something that can actually help the children of enemy soldiers suffering today.
We need ambassadors and around 12.000 US dollars (100.000 NOK) to get started. Join us and become a founding contributor for "The Children Born of War Project".
