Children and Women's' Support Initiative Uganda (CAWSIU) is a United State's registered 501(c)3. Our mission is to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ with orphaned and vulnerable children and women in and around the Mpuunge village, the Byaakanda sub-country, and the Rakai district in Uganda Africa. Our school Sun Rise Academy Nursery and Primary School provides free education to any children who come to the school. We are located in a rural and high poverty area where the majority of people cannot afford education or even the daily necessities of life. Multiple villages are in our area and many children walk great distances to obtain an education and food. Currenlty we have almost 300 children a day attending the school and growing rapidly daily! We need your help! We built temporary buildings but need to replace them with permanent structures made of brick as soon as possible!
