There is a need in California to help CA Native American Tribes with building new and improved GIS mapping technology to help protect their cultural landscape, improve on land management, and preservation of their culture and language. CA Tribal GIS is a new non-profit that with funding for website, GIS technical tools and software, can better assist California Native American Tribes with GIS mapping solutions.
