This is me and my cat, butters. We've been living in a small car for more than four years because disability payments don't allow me to afford a safe place to live. Am well-suited to the nomadic life so this part is not so bad. Because of arthritis and bone spurs in the clutch leg and foot though, I've needed to replace this car for a while. And now the transmission went out before I could raise the money.

The cost to replace a manual transmission is more or less irrelevant as mechanics who can work on them are literally considered unicorns by other mechanics. I need to replace it with something more suitable more or less immediately.

The amount I'm asking for is a lot, but have been looking at vehicles that will suit my special needs and that looks to be about what I'd need to spend. Don't have the resources or skills to do a bunch of work on it. Need to be able to load it up and go with everything working.
