Supporting Crystal & Alana Morgan

Donation protected
As teachers, coaches, mentors, and friends we have gotten to know quite a number of individuals and families who have impacted our lives in more ways then many will ever know. One family in particular has taught us some of the most honest and valuable life lessons as being a genuine and kind hearted soul, a selfless and loyal friend, and the way we can only hope to raise our daughters, the way she has hers. We first met Crystal and Alana Morgan back in 2008 when Alana was entering Jackson Liberty High School for her freshman year. Having been actively involved with competitive gymnastics clubs throughout Monmouth County, as well as being Teachers and Head Gymnastics Coaches for both Jackson Liberty and Memorial High Schools, we couldn't wait to get to know the mother-daughter duo we had heard so much about. From the moment we met Crystal and Alana, we knew our relationship would go far beyond the role we played in each others lives after Alana's graduation in 2012. As expected, the Morgan's are not only our friends, but our family and we couldn't imagine it any other way. Earlier this year, Crystal had been experiencing some health related concerns with symptoms in which were uncharacteristic to her overall health as a middle aged woman. It wasn't until an incident occurred on June 21, 2016 when Crystal and Alana received the most devastating and unfathomable news resulting with the diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer. Crystal has been in and out of the hospital for multiple procedures, rounds of chemotherapy treatments, medication complications, and for her weekly check ups and scans. Upon completion of her 6th round of chemotherapy, Crystal will be re-evaluated by her team of doctors. This evaluation will determine whether the tumor has decreased enough in size to move forward in her treatment and remove the tumor. Due to the emenint nature of her diagnosis, Crystal has been unable to work since starting her treatment. Alana, who recently turned 22 years old has made the necessary sacrifices to take on a role to provide and care for her mother. With the help of their immediate family they are doing the best they can given the circumstances. This GoFundMe account has been respectfully created with the permission from Crystal and Alana Morgan, who without question deserve some financial support during this emotionally strenuous time in their lives. We know this campaign will allow an opportunity for anyone who knows the Morgan Family or who can relate to their challenging situation the chance to give something back to them. Thank you in advanced to everyone for your love and support - The Morgan family will be forever grateful for what you have provided for their family during this tough time.
