THE BACKSTORY

We all know and love Bugatti. The King. The Legend. His story began in heartbreak — thrown from a car and left to die, then dumped in a kill shelter where his time was running out.

But two angels, Amanda and Lisa, said “Not today.” They refused to let his story end there. Bugatti was rescued, had glamour shots taken, and funds were raised to repair his damaged legs. Then came Cassandra, his foster mom…who quickly dropped the “foster” part and gave Bugatti his forever home.

With Cassandra, Bugatti blossomed. He became an ambassador for his breed — greeting everyone he met with confidence and grace, and welcoming new dogs into the pack like the true king he is.

THEN TRAGEDY STRUCK

One day, Bugatti’s belly swelled. He was rushed to the vet. Fluid drained. Then again. Further testing led to the devastating word no dog parent ever wants to hear: cancer.

After multiple tests and an oncologist consult, the diagnosis came: hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive and heartbreaking cancer.

THE PLAN

Bugatti’s oncologist developed a treatment plan focused on quality of life — giving him more good days filled with belly rubs, horse nuggets, and time with his beloved mom and pack.

Right now, he’s still active, still eating like a champ, and still very much his ornery, stubborn, Corso self.

But the treatments, medications, and supplements aren’t cheap — and they add up fast.

Attached are receipts we've incurred so far in Bugatti's diagnosis and treatment. We will have follow-up visits with his oncologist for treatment progression as well as his regular vets if fluid becomes an issue again. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. We are also attaching the two supplements our oncologist has recommended.

*Bugatti will need a lot more than a 6-day supply, but this is all she could afford at this time after all the other unexpected costs.
