UPDATE
Thank you to SLO animal hospital who has been kind enough to work with us on Bubs vet bills. We are currently trying to update our lawyer to an animal rights lawyer who is out of SLO county which has turned out to be quite pricey. We are still looking for someone to take on the case and are in need of more consultations. We are also bringing awareness to the community so that our tragic incident does not just get lost in the active media like SLO PD wants. It is time San Luis Obispo stand up for themselves against these bullies. This is for the many people who have been harrassed and manipulated by SLO PD.
Thursday September 25th, a San Luis Obispo police officer shot and killed my daughter Riley and her boyfriend Nick’s dog Bubbers, a pit/boxer mix. This was their child of 7+ years. They were forced to put him down after life saving attempts by two veterinary hospitals in the area. They are devastated over their loss. They had to play close to 2k for this out of pocket. As you can imagine the cost of living in SLO isn’t cheap along with running his hot dog cart, ZEN DOG and she works also. Like most people they don’t have that kind of money laying around! I am trying to help raise the funds they had to shell out to the vet resulting from this encounter with the SLOPD.
