Bryce’s Brain Tumor Battle

Hello everyone, this sweet boy is Bryce! Bryce is a loving, silly, precious little 2 year old. My bother Michael and his wife Mary have received incredibly devastating news that Bryce has a high grade tumor. Backstory: Bryce had a seizure July 23rd, which happened out of the blue. Bryce was taken to the emergency room, where they CT & MRI scanned him.  They noticed what looked to be a spot of blood on the top of his brain. 

They spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the hospital.  They were discharged without many answers Sunday evening.  

Bryce had a normal day Monday

Tuesday morning Isabella, Bryce's oldest sister started screaming for her mom at 5 AM because she noticed Bryce was having another seizure. 

They rushed him to the ER, only to be released Wednesday without any answers. They gave him seizure medication and told them they will need another CT/MRI in the upcoming weeks to keep an eye on that "spot".

Bryce was CT & MRI scanned weekly for 3 weeks. 

No changes occurred to said spot 

The neurosurgeon then decided to make an appointment a month out since no changes had occurred.  

During this month of waiting has been very difficult on the family, watching their two year old son experience negative side effects from the seizure medication which have been affecting his mood, eating habits, normal routines and so on. 

A month passes and Michael and Mary take Bryce to his CT/MRI scan appointment on 09/13

The last MRI was taken 8/09. 

During that month and few day gap, the spot was now visible on the MRI, and was no longer a spot but now it was definitely a tumor. The tumor grew from 1cmx1cm (based off of CT scan) to now 5cmx5cmx3.8cm (based off 09/13 MRI). This spot was now identified as a high grade tumor. (Based off of its fast growth)

Bryce has been scheduled for a biopsy Monday 9/20 to determine the type of tumor. Recovery for the biopsy will take 3 days if everything goes smoothly. 

Im asking for any help for my brother, his wife and their 4 children, Isabella 10, Aislynn 8, Brooks 8, and Bryce 2. My brother is an army veteran, working as a truck driver. 

The bills are starting to stack up since their insurance is not covering anything at this point, and since my brother has taken time off work to be there for his family. This would mean that he would need to be on the road and away from his family at such a difficult time to provide for them. I would like for him to be able to stay home and be there for his son, to go to doctor appointments and be there to support his son and his family. I wish to remove the stress of worrying about being able to financially support his family and actually spend this time with his family. Michael and Mary believe in the power of prayer, so im asking everyone to please keep Bryce in your thoughts.
