Bruce's Medical Fund

Donation protected
My name is Jared and my cat's name is Bruce. His full name is Bruce Stringbean Prager, and he also goes by Brucie, Bruce Moose, Brucie Boy, and "My little monster man." He's one-and-a-half years old and recently decided to eat about a dozen or so elastic hair-ties.

This made him very, very sick. My girlfriend and I took him to urgent care at our neighborhood animal hospital and spent hours waiting for answers as to what he needs in order to be healthy. He got most of the hair-ties out of his system naturally, but there remained a blockage in his intestines that required emergency surgery.

This surgery is fortunately common enough due to how pets tend to eat things they shouldn't, and despite how difficult this period of time has been for us and my monster man, he completed surgery and is on-track to being fully healed.

The reason why I'm raising money is because of the medical costs. Since this was all so sudden, the costs came to us in one huge blow without options for financing. Unfortunately, we've gone through savings and credit cards, and the costs are still much more than we can handle at this time.  We're just two millenials struggling with ridiculous student loans.

We're asking for help from friends, family, and anyone who understands that you'd pay any price to have your little guy bouncing around the house again.  Bruce means the world to us. Your help means the world to us.
