I’d like to share John and Brittany’s story with the world so that everyone knows what wonderful human being they both are! John & Brittany meet in high school around 15, 16 years old... They fell so deeply in love so very fast but anyone that was around them could tell it was that once in a life time kind of love! At the time when they were in high school our mom became very ill! Brittany devoted all her time to helping mom. She was still dating John at the time and he could have turned his back and found someone else. That had plenty of free time to date and enjoy adolescents but he didn’t he stuck by her side. He too helped take care of our mother. He helped take her to doctor appointments, run errands, and etc. In the middle of all this John came to know that he wanted to marry my sister! Not to long after we had a small intimate wedding and the two were one! After the wedding John & Britt decided to join my parents in SC. Staying close by to be able to help my aging parents… John was the type to take out trash, run errands, and be the house hold handy man! Of course John and Britt weren’t prefect! Everyone has their flaws and every couple has its ups and downs, but these two were in it for the long haul! And stuck together threw the struggles!! In the time they were together the welcomed two beautiful healthy babies!! John felt like he was on top of the world! He was an incredible hands on father! There are so many pictures and great memoirs of outings they did with the kids! They both were amazing parents! A great Team!! John and Britt come back to Ct for the summer to work with the family company. This summer John worked so hard and mid-summer he decided to reward his self with a street bike. Brittany was uneasy with it. As kids we grew up with our mom and dad not allowing motorcycles! The argued 2 weeks over him getting the bike but John begged and pleaded even going so far as to begging for approval from our mom & dad. He worn everyone down and finally the battle was over! He kept his bike and loved it! John had close relatives he could have rode with but for some reason he hit it off and made a new riding friend named Paul. Paul tells us how they would go riding stop for sushi and chat. Paul brought John into the bible… John was unsure for years… He would always say he knew there was something but he just wasn’t sure what! Brittany and I always encouraged him to fallow God but I believe it was the bike that lead him to Paul that eventually lead John to being SAVED in Jesus name! Shortly after being saved a tragic event took place! On Friday October 30th John was on his way to work riding his bike. .. A preacher donating his time to pick up a handicap child was driving a van and simply never saw John that morning. Striking John on the bike and killing him on impact. John 24 years old left behind a young wife and two babies. Isabella, who is 4 years old and Little John, who is 2 years old. My sister has a long hard road of trying to piece her life back together without her husband and loving father of her children. I thought with the holidays just around the corner it be a good idea to start this fund for Brittany and the kids! I’m hoping this fund will keep growing and growing! I know money will not fill the void in their hearts but I’d like to give them one less thing to worry about! It’s not about how much people donate. I’m hoping if shared enough times and if everyone only gives $10 we will be able to make some type of impact! I’ve seen this site raise $20,000 for animals this is such an amazing thing we can do! So Please donate, share, and say a pray for this family in need!!! Also there’s a place to share a comment on this site and I keep getting people from John’s community share stories of these wonderful selfless acts of kindness john did. So please if you knew him take the time to write a comment to tell people how amazing John was! We all have suffered a tragic loss!!! Thank You and God Bless
