Oxygen for India Campaign
Donation protected

On the 30th of April, I received a devastating message, A very dear friend Pooja Bhumit Dahiya, only 27 years old and 9 months pregnant, was taken from this world with her unborn baby, after a two-week battle with Covid in the ICU of a New Delhi hospital.
Already over 220,000 individuals in India have lost their lives to Covid’s deadly second wave.
We cannot let this catastrophe continue.
This campaign has been set up by a student volunteer group from the University of Bristol named "BristO2l for India", raising funds to send medical and essential relief to patients and covid warriors in India.
What we are trying to do:
*We aim to send a maximum number of oxygen concentrators (20+), CPAP & BiPAP (Ventilator Support Machines) through your donations to local hospitals across Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Mizoram, and Uttarakhand including other remote locations where the help has not yet reached.
*We have collaborated with the local state government representatives for the shipment of the Oxygen concentrators, ventilator equipment machines and essential goods.
*We plan to further diversify our campaign by shipping more essential goods and medical equipment to the most affected states by incorporating a local volunteer team and collaborating with local NGO’s to deliver relief packages.
What we have accomplished till now:
*Phase 1 of the BristO2l Campaign named “Project Prayas” is underway to ship our first 4 concentrators to Uttar Pradesh (1), Uttarakhand (1) and Maharashtra (2), which will reach their destination hospitals by the 23rd June 2021. "Each concentrator can help save up to 5-10 lives in a span of a month".

Help us in showing solidarity with the people of India.
The third wave of Covid-19 is anticipated and we are trying our best to help India in its preparation against this ghastly virus.
Donate Now. Every minute counts.
We are much grateful for your very generous support.
