The Rohingya community has endured much, and many among them are seeking spiritual comfort and guidance. However, they face a barrier that many of us take for granted - the availability of religious texts in a language they can understand.

We believe everyone should be able to explore spiritual texts in their native language. That's why we are embarking on an exciting project to translate the New Testament into Rohingya.

Why the Rohingya Language?

The Rohingya people are an ethnic minority who predominantly speak the Rohingya language. Sadly, many religious texts, including the Old and New Testaments, are unavailable in this language. We want to change this and provide them access to the spiritual guidance found in the Bible in the Rohingya Language

The Project:

Our goal is to translate the entire Bible into Rohingya. We have assembled a team of skilled linguists, translators, and theological experts to ensure an accurate and respectful translation.

The funds raised will go towards:

-Translation Costs: monthly incentives for (8) translators and provide laptops for the MTTs.

- monthly administration cost

The fund's amount is for a year's budget.

We aim to print physical copies and provide free digital versions for easy access.

Distribution:

We will collaborate with local organizations to distribute the translated texts within the Rohingya community.

Community Engagement: Conducting workshops and meetings to introduce the translated text and support its understanding within the community.
