In the wake of a tragedy Bring Kahiau Home safe and peaceful

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, our son Kolton Kahiau had got wrongfully taken out of the state of Hawaii by his biological father with unsupportive unidentifiable court documents.

We moved back to Hawaii in May 2024 in hopes to give Kahiau a better life that didn’t involve seeing Domestic Violence. Since moving here, he’s been going to school, playing sports, fishing, beach, and just having a normal childhood he can laugh and have fun. In September 2024, both parents had gone to court for a Restraing order (initiated by mom) due to previous encounters of Domestic Violence. As we thought justice would help, the judge had granted it but had took Kahiau off the order making it harder for mom to seek protection from her former Partner.

We then found out we were expecting and due to mom having a high risk pregnancy, she’s not allowed to work per Dr’s orders. I, Jake, step dad to Kahiau, am the sole provider for this family. As I only make so much each paycheck, we are humbly asking the community and anyone around for help in raising money for lawyer fee’s and other court expenses to get Kahiau back with us!
